MSW Graduate Selected as Ohio Social Work Student of the Year

Keno Jackson


Keno Jackson, who earned a Master of Social Work degree at UA in 2016, was presented with the Ohio Social Work Student of the Year Award on March 18, 2017.

The presentation was made at the National Association of Social Workers-Ohio Chapter Social Work Month Celebration Gala in Lewis Center, Ohio. There were 15 students recognized from the regional levels, and Jackson was selected from this group. He is seen above receiving the award from Nina Turner, a former state senator for Ohio.

  • Maggie Johnson (Wayne campus, BSW Student of the Year); and
  • Jessica Stevens (Wayne campus, MSW Student of the Year).
