Learning Outcomes for 3450:636 Advanced Topics in Combinatorics and Graph Theory 

Students are expected to be able to

• Understand and implement theorems and algorithms from graph theory, especially regarding networks.
• Use methods from combinatorics, including generating functions and recurrence relations, to solve advanced problems in combinatorics.
• Understand advanced topics, including but not limited to, Catalan numbers and their generalizations, and partitions.
