All current UA students, faculty, staff are eligible to borrow materials from the UA Libraries circulating collections, as well as OhioLINK and Interlibrary Loan materials. Circulation policy requires a picture ID be presented at the time of check-out. Faculty and staff may elect to apply for a proxy card, enabling designated students to check-out library materials for the instructor. Persons not affiliated with the University of Akron and UA alumni may request borrowing privileges in person at any UA Libraries location by presenting a state-issued ID.
