The University of Akron Dance Company (UADC) presents its Fall 2012 Dance Concert Nov. 15-17 at 8 p.m. and Nov. 18 at 2 p.m. at Paul A. Daum Theatre in Kolbe Hall, 328 Buchtel Common on campus.

The diverse program features modern dance set to the music of Chick Corea, classical ballet with a piano score by composer Jean Francaix, a multimedia presentation of a site-specific dance piece titled "Stream," and neo-classical ballet with dancers en pointe to music by Yann Tiersen.

The choreographers include UA dance faculty members Robin Prichard, Tom Smith, Cydney Spohn and Kara Stewart, as well as UA student Joy Gross, whose piece was chosen by faculty as an example of outstanding emerging talent from this year's UA Choreographers’ Workshop.

Tickets are $12 for general admission, $10 for seniors and UA faculty and staff, and $6 for students. The ticket office opens one hour before each performance. A group discount is available in advance for 10 or more patrons. For additional information and reservations, call 330-972-7895.
